Interactive Design- HR Nexus
For this project, I was provided with a research packet, a project brief, and four user personas. Using those, I designed an app for HR Nexus and conducted a usability test.
Moderated Usability Test Script Template

Hi _____, thank you again for taking the time to participate in this study. Before we begin, I’m
going to give you a brief overview of the test and how it will work.

This session is pretty straightforward — I’ll be giving you a broad task to complete and then
asking questions as we go along. Before I tell you the task, I’ll be giving you a little bit of context
behind it, such as why you might be doing it and what you hope to achieve.

It’s really important to know that we are only testing the site, not you. You can’t do or say
anything wrong here. Please feel free to let me know at any time if there’s something you like,
or dislike, if you’re confused, etc. I promise you won’t hurt my feelings.

Also, I’d like you to “think aloud” as much as possible. By that, I mean that I’d like you to speak
your thoughts as often as you can. For example, you may be looking at a page, suddenly see
something you didn’t see before, and want to click on it. In that case, saying something like “This
caught my eye so I’m going to see what it is” would be very useful.

If at any point you have questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Do you have any questions so
far?
Ok, Let’s get started.

Provide any background and context here.
Provide a scenario to set up any tasks you would like the participant to perform: Let’s suppose
you need to hire an HR Professional to write an HR Manual for your small business. What would
you click on this screen?

Test Analysis
-The prototype performed as intended.
-My design performed well during the test.
-The user for the most part was able to use the prototype in the correct process.
-I should have added more options for the usability test.
-More options for the messages with the approve and deny option.
-All messages should have been able to be clicked through with approve and deny options.
-The common buttons worked well with the user and the user was able to conclude certain buttons needed to be clicked to get to the next page.
-An overflow screen pop-up at the end would be successful in telling the user a task was completed.
User Research
Research Plan:
Create an App for movie Recommendations
Rmovies- A movie recommendation app that matches your mood. Whether you're feeling happy, sad, scared, weird, or ready to laugh, Rmovies suggests the perfect film to suit your vibe. Just pick how you're feeling, and let the app do the rest.

Case study- Bucket Bash
Bucket Bash is a social media app where you and your friends can create a bucket list together and compete to see who can finish the entire list first. Once you complete one of the activities you can post a photo to show others. The main purpose of this app is to stay connected with your friends
