Broken Palette exhibits the emotions unconsciously put within Lockwood’s work. She explores tactile painting techniques and dangerous media. This work is an exploration of the emotional storytelling art holds. Personal experiences of the artist and positive and negative emotions during the art-making process unconsciously play a role in the work.
